What is healing, and does it work? Healing literally means “making whole”. What we do is work together to create a free-flow of holistic energy, life force, which flows generously through your body. Because of the life we lived, and the experiences we had, we have built up certain patterns and obstacles to secure ourselves. At a certain point in our life these securities are no longer working for us, as they once did, so we need to remove them to be able to move forward in our life. Ancient indigenous people have developed many ways to resolve these issues for thousands of years, so they work. I have been taught by many healers and elders (see about page), and my Mexican teacher Sergio Magana has given me explicit permission to use these healing methods to benefit others, and to teach these Toltec healing methods in workshops. I feel very privileged, as an originally Western-European person, that these ancient healing methods were shared with me. At times I also use healing methods that have been shared by Kichwa, Quechua and Qu’ero shamans and elders from Peru and Ecuador.
Are you able to work with hereditary and/or genetic dis-eases, like cancer, high blood pressure, IBS, ALS or back problems etc.? Or with ancestral or intergenerational trauma? With hereditary dis-eases and ancestral trauma we often go to the root of the problem through ancestral healing; by healing the ancestors first they can support you from the moment of their healing. We will also heal the destructive ancestral patterns that contributed to your issue, and that were downloaded, often unconsciously, to you by your ancestors. What can I expect from a healing session with you? I will provide a safe and sacred space to work in, filled with compassion, and I will be there for the full 100% to assist in and help create your healing. What form the healing will take really depends on what comes up during the session, what you want to heal, and what is at the root cause of it. I will give you a jumpstart, but in the end every healing is self-healing. I am here to facilitate it to the best of my abilities. And I will!
What will I experience? That will be different for everyone. Some people have a change of awareness, others experience temperature differences during the session, others become emotional, see images, some feel shivers or tinkling in their body, others don’t feel anything during the session and have epiphanies afterwards… There is no standard for healing. It really depends on the person! It depends on how ready and open you are for healing, and willing to let things go. I will give you a jumpstart, and then you will take it from there. And I will be there to guide you through the process!
Are there any negative side-effects of a healing? No, there are not. Healing means making whole again. It may feel uncomfortable at first, and the world may respond to you in a different, more appropriate way that is more intrinsic to the real you. But, there are no negative sides to healing!
How should I prepare myself for a healing session? Take your time to go to the place where the session takes place. Try to avoid running from one place to another. And have a rough idea about what you would like to work on. We will work on your healing together, as a team, so be willing and open to follow the guidance provided.
What should I do after a session? Preferably take it easy, not run off to a party, or a large event. I suggest people do not shower, drink alcohol, have sex or hug other people the rest of the day because it may interfere in the integration of the healing. Drink a lot of water.
How many sessions do I need? There is no way of knowing beforehand. In general 2-3 sessions, with a max of 5. If we have not been able to create improvement of your condition then I will suggest you’ll work with another healer (which, btw, I never had to do!)
Is there any follow-up after the session? If the session is very intense I will check with you in 2 days, but with everyone else at least after 10 days, so you have time to integrate the healing. You are always free to contact me in the mean time, though, if you have questions or concerns.
Do you work with clients with severe (youth) trauma? Yes I do. Often, though not always, I will use the path of a soul retrieval, in addition to ancestral healing, as often similar patterns occurred in the past. Shamans around the world say that when trauma (when something happens that we can’t process, as a child or an adult) happens, part of the soul leaves. In this process we recover that part of your soul that left.
I got divorced, but I still can’t get rid of the energy of my former partner. Can you help me with that? Yes I can. A session will include a healing part where we work on the reasons why the relationship did not work out, followed by an energetic cord cutting with that person, so the negative cords (we keep the positive ones in place!) that existed between the two of you will not continue to suck energy from you, so you will be able to move on with your life!
Do you work with (small) children? Yes I do work with children, though when they are (very) young I mostly work through the mother (or father).
Do you work with animals? Yes I do. Animals tend to be very receptive towards healing work, hands-on or not. I successfully worked long-distance on a horse in Belgium and a cat in New York from my home in California.
Do you have any referrals? Yes, see my website page, and click here on TESTIMONIALS.
Do you work over the phone and long distance during the pandemic? Healing sessions over the phone are equally effective as face-to-face sessions; and so, yes, I do work long-distance as well
Do I have to undress for a healing session? No, you never do! All session happen fully clothed. I would suggest wearing easy-fitting clothes, so it is easy to breathe.
How long are sessions? The first session is 1.5 hours; each follow-up session is one hour.
If I need to cancel, what do I do? There is a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel within 24 hours of the agreed upon time for the session, you owe the full fee for that session. If more than 24 hours in advance, just simply re-schedule the appointment
